Data Deletion Request

Effective date: July 20, 2026

This page explains how to delete data associated with Recipe Healthifier (developed by Recipe Healthifier), and what's removed versus what's kept. Recipe Healthifier has no user accounts and no login — there is no "delete my account" step, because there is no account. Instead, deletion works in two parts: your on-device data (which you control directly) and a small amount of server-side data tied to an anonymous identifier (which you can ask us to remove).

The short version: uninstalling the app deletes everything stored on your device immediately, with no request needed. The only thing left anywhere is a couple of small server-side records tied to an anonymous ID — email us and we'll remove what we can.

Steps to request deletion

Step 1 — Uninstall the app (deletes your on-device data immediately)

Your anonymous device ID, your rule preferences, and your saved recipe library are stored only on your device. Uninstalling Recipe Healthifier permanently deletes all of it right away — no request, waiting period, or contact with us is required for this step.

Step 2 — Email us to remove server-side data tied to your anonymous ID

Recipe Healthifier has no accounts, so there's no name or email on file to look up. Server-side, the only things we keep are described below in "What is deleted vs. kept" — and the only one kept indefinitely is a flag tied to your anonymous device ID. To have it removed, email [email protected] with a request to delete your data, and include your anonymous ID if you have it. If you can locate your anonymous ID in the app's Settings screen, include it; otherwise, email us and we'll help you identify the data to remove.

Step 3 — What happens next

We locate any server-side record tied to the anonymous ID you provide (or that we help you identify) and delete it. Since this is a manual, non-automated process handled by a small team, please allow up to 30 days for confirmation. There is no recipe content or account data to search for — only the short-lived and long-lived technical records described below.
